Do You Actually Plan And Develop Sites For Housing Yourselves?

No, that’s the remit of developers/builders once the land has outline consent. The diagrams/plans we put together are purely indicative of how a developer might plan housing on a particular site. There are, of course, other options/variations they may employ.

What Kind Of Land Is Involved?

It’s predominantly agricultural or Greenfield land or accommodation land, the common factor being development potential.

Isn’t Greenbelt Land Protected?

Generally yes. But pressures on housing mean that local and national government are increasingly releasing selected sites in order to meet demand for the future.

What Do The Developers Do?

Have you ever wondered why property developers seem to be able to obtain planning permission where others have failed in the past? They obtain it for two specific reasons: Firstly, they have the experience and expertise to make a clear and persuasive case to the local councils and government bodies. Secondly and most importantly, they buy land that is strategically positioned to fit all the criteria that meets with the current needs for housing.

Why Shouldn’t I Apply For Planning Permission Individually?

An experienced individual applying for planning permission for one plot of land out of potentially a whole development proposal is quite likely to be refused. With the infrastructure not in place, there are likely to be significant repercussions regarding access etc. thus affecting further applications for the site as a whole. To ensure that you gain maximum potential from your investment, we arrange the services of experienced teams of planning consultants.
